Speaking at the meeting, Politburo member Chinh asked them to thoroughly grasp the Party and State’s guidelines on foreign affairs and external information while acting as a bridge to strengthen the relationships between Vietnam and countries around the world.

The results achieved in the previous term of Vietnamese representative missions abroad have demonstrated the significant contribution of the diplomatic sector to national development, he noted.

The Politburo member expressed his hope that generations of the Vietnamese diplomatic sector will promote their solidarity and unity to make the Vietnamese diplomatic sector develop further in the future, while mobilising overseas Vietnamese to continue to make greater contribution to the nation.

He also asked Vietnamese overseas missions to coordinate with the PCC Organisation Commission in order to successfully realise the tasks assigned to them by the Party, State and people.
