The number of entries was announced on November 20 at a working session of the steering board and the organising board of the contest, which focuses on Party building work.
The entries comprise 781 articles published on print newspapers, 294 articles on electronic newspapers, 375 TV programmes, 165 radio programmes and 26 press photo works.
Speaking at the meeting, Politburo member and Head of the CPV Central Committee’s Organisation Commission Pham Minh Chinh underlined the significance of the Awards, which aim to recognise outstanding works in disseminating information and promoting understanding about the Party’s policies and Party building work.
He requested the Organisation Commission to coordinate closely with the awards’ organising board in preparation for the award presentation ceremony, slated for January 16, 2019, in Hanoi. The ceremony will be broadcast live on national television.
