Deputy PM Truong Hoa Binh works with Lam Dong

Politburo member and Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh worked with key leaders of the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong on December 20 to discuss the current local socio-economic situation and important ethnic minority affairs.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy PM Truong Hoa Binh spoke highly of the province's socio-economic achievements in 2019.

Emphasising that Lam Dong had great potential and strengths in agricultural production, especially in high-tech agriculture and upmarket tourism, the Deputy PM asked the province to continue to find resolutions to any issues and fulfil the objectives set by the Party Central Committee in 2019 and for the 2015 - 2020 tenure.

Lam Dong should also prepare for the provincial building and planning for the 2021 - 2030 period, with a vision to 2045; while at the same time continuing to focus on developing modern agriculture, paying attention to improving forest coverage, and promoting the development of key industrial products and tourism products in while taking special care of the protection of the environment, he noted.

The Deputy PM also requested Lam Dong to implement the Directive 35-CT/TW of the Politburo on preparation for all-level Party congresses toward the 13th National Party Congress.
