Delegation of the Central Military Commission pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh

A delegation of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of Defence on December 21 paid tribute to late President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum in Hanoi on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Vietnamese People's Army (December 22, 1944 - 2019).

The leaders included Politburo member, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of Defence, General Ngo Xuan Lich; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, member of the Central Military Commission’s standing board, and Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People’s Army, General Luong Cuong; Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Member of the Central Military Commission, Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army and Deputy Defence Minister, Senior Lieutenant General Phan Van Giang.

They showed their immense gratitude towards the late President who founded, led, educated and trained the Vietnam People’s Army. The delegation then laid a wreath down at the Monument to Heroes and Martyrs.

After paying tribute to President Ho Chi Minh, the delegation attended a ceremony to mark the 75th anniversary of Vietnamese People’s Army in Hanoi.
