In 2019 the Ministry of Justice has offered advice to the government on effective measures to increase the rank of Vietnam’s legal compliance by 17 places from that of 2018, helping to enhance the business environment and competitiveness of the Vietnamese economy.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy PM Binh said he agreed with the judicial system’s plan for 2020, urging the agencies concerned to better fulfil their role in translating the Party’s policies and guidelines into legal regulations.

He asked the Ministry of Justice to make active contributions to perfecting Vietnamese law in international integration and ensure the consistency of the Vietnamese legal system.

The judiciary was also requested to continue reforming the enforcement of civil and administrative judgements, and to pay attention to administrative reform and public service delivery as well as to concentrate resources on helping the government to properly deal with international legal issues.
