Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels urged to proactively grasp the people’s situation

The Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) committees and socio-political organisations at all levels should proactively and thoroughly grasp the situation to timely advise Party committees and authorities to organise exchanges and listen to the people’s ideas and aspirations.

Politburo member, Secretary of Party Central Committee (PCC) and Head of the PCC’s Commission for Mass Mobilisation Truong Thi Mai made the statement at a conference held in Buon Ma Thuot City, the Central Highland Province of Dak Lak, on December 28, to review the mass mobilisation work of VFF committees and socio-political organisations in 2019.

Speaking at the conference, Politburo member Truong Thi Mai appreciated the achievements gained by VFF committees and socio-political organisations in 2019.

She emphasised the necessity to build and consolidate the Vietnam Fatherland Front committees and socio-political organisations at all levels, particularly at grassroots levels, paying great attention to caring for the demands and aspirations and the protection of legitimate interests of their members and people.

The VFF committees and socio-political organisations should enhance the access to new issues in association with the leadership of the Party and State and the renewal of the country; as well as help their members and people to grasp the impacts of social networks and the fourth industrial revolution, the Politburo member added.

She urged the organisation of more voluntary activities and the care for policy beneficiaries, people living in difficult circumstances and those with disabilities.

Politburo member Mai also asked the VFF committees and socio-political organisations to improve the quality and efficiency of social supervision and criticism to give comments for Party and government building; as well as improving the quality of patriotic emulation movements and campaigns, in association with the implementation of national programmes and targets.
