At the meeting, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Hanoimunicipal Party Committee Ngo Thi Thanh Hang presented an overview report on the implementation of Resolution of the 16th municipal Party Congress, the preparation for the organisation of Party congresses at all levels towards the upcoming 17th municipal Party Congress; prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic, and key tasks in the coming time.
She affirmed that during the process of its construction and development, the Hanoi municipal Party Committee have exerted every effort to successfully carry out the construction and defence tasks of the Capital city, as well as play a leading role in many fields, and achieve great and comprehensive achievements on all aspects of social life.
In the context that the Covid-19 epidemic is spreading rapidly and seriously in many countries around the world, over the past time, the entire political system of Hanoi has actively implemented drastic and synchronous measures on epidemic prevention and control under the guidance of the Secretariat, the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Health and the municipal Party Committee and People’s Committee, she noted.
Addressing the meeting, Politburo member and Secretary of the Hanoi Municipal Party Committee Vuong Dinh Hue underscored the need to build a clean and strong Party committee in terms of politics, ideology and organisation, which has close links with the people as well as scientific methods of leadership and a contingent of capable Party members, worthy to be a leader and faithful servant of the people.
He also called upon the municipal Party Committee, administration and people of the Capital city to uphold the glorious traditions, elevate their sense of shared responsibility and perform current tasks effectively.
