According to Dinh, the funding was donated by the members of the Association and others who love Romania.
He noted that this would help boost solidarity between the two peoples and partly help mitigate the impact of the disease in Romania.
For his part, Romanian Ambassador Emil Ghitulescuexpressed his thanks to the Vietnamese State, people, and the Vietnam-Romania Friendship Association for their warm sentiment and support.
As a Romanian who is working and living in Hanoi, the Ambassador said he valued the appropriate measures devised by the Vietnamese Government and the efforts of Hanoi authorities, as well as the participation of the Vietnamese people in the fight against the pandemic.
Vice President of the Vietnam - Romania Friendship Association Bui Trong Dinh also added that the Association will hand over VND100 million to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee to aid Vietnam's prevention and control efforts.
