At the A Dot - Ta Vang and Hong Van – Co Tai border gates in A Luoi District, Colonel Dang Minh Tien, Deputy Commander of the Border Guard of Thua Thien Hue Province, conveyed his best new year’s wishes to the Lao border guard soldiers, public security forces and people in the localities.
At the meeting, the two sides exchanged on the security and order situation as well as the prevention and control of crimes in the border area over recent time, especially their coordination in Covid-19 prevention and control.

On the occasion, the provincial Border Guard High Command presented nearly 50 gifts, including essential goods and medical supplies to the Lao armed forces and people.
In recent days, representatives from the border posts under the Thua Thien – Hue Provincial Border Guard High Command stationed on the Vietnam – Laos border visited and sent greetings to Lao friends at the border gates.
