The seminar received more than 90 papers from scientists, researchers, lecturers and individuals throughout the country.

The workshop focused on four scientific topics in relation to the position, role and leadership of the CPV, from its inception in the early 20th century to its modern responsibilities to the nation in the context of globalisation and international integration.

Reports at the workshop affirmed that over the past 90 years, under the leadership of the Party, the Vietnamese people have firmly defended and promoted their revolutionary achievements. Thanks to the Party's socialist-oriented market economic development policy, the country's economy has maintained a stable growth rate along with social stability.

In the current period, delegates suggested that it is necessary to raise awareness of the Party among the younger generations, including students, while creating favourable conditions for positive and inspiring students to join the Party so that they have the opportunity to contribute and serve the development of the nation.

The Party and State should pay attention to and create favourable conditions to care for, educate, foster and promote the role of youngsters, they said.
