Reports at the event stated that over the past five years, emulation campaigns have received a warm response from local residents, bringing about positive results and boosting the province’s stable socio-economic development, even through difficult periods.
From key emulation campaigns, there have emerged multiple collectives and individuals, with thousands of initiatives and useful solutions across various fields, contributing positively to the socio-economic development of the province.
Speaking at the congress, Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh said that Lai Chau should continue to thoroughly grasp the instructions of President Ho Chi Minh on patriotic emulation, as well as other directives from the Party and the Politburo in the area.
On this occasion, under the authorisation of the President and the Prime Minister, VP Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh presented the Emulation Flag of the Prime Minister to Lai Chau province; awarded the Second-class Labour Order to an individual and the Third-class Labour Orders to two individuals who made positive achievements during the province’s emulation campaigns during 2015-2020.
