Exhibition highlights General Le Duc Anh’s life and career

Over 300 documents, photos, artifacts and articleshighlighting the life and career of General Le Duc Anh are on display at an exhibition that opened officially at the Vietnam Military History Museum in Hanoi on November 26.

The event aims to honour the contributions made by General Le Duc Anh to the struggle for the national independence and reunification as well as the cause of national construction and defence.

The exhibits are divided into four major parts, with the first themed “Hometown and childhood” featuring the patriotic tradition of General Le Duc Anh’s homeland and family; and the second phase spotlighting the revolutionary career of the General from his first days of joining the revolution.

“General Le Duc Anh in the cause of national construction” is the theme of the exhibition’s third part, recalling his role in leading and building the people’s armed forces and the all people's defence as well as enhancing the country’s defence and security potential, thus contributing to the nation’s development.

The fourth phase introduces photos, documents and artifacts highlighting the General’s attention to and sentiments for his comrades, homeland, relatives and people.

The exhibition contributes to educating patriotism and national pride among people from all strata, especially younger generations.
