Vietnamese diplomats pay floral tribute to late Lao President Kaysone Phomvihane

A delegation of the Vietnamese Embassy in Laos and Vietnam’s diplomatic offices in the country offered flowers at the statue of late Lao President Kaysone Phomvihane in the Kaysone Phomvihane Museum on December 11 on the occasion of his 100th birth anniversary (December 13, 1920-2020).

Trinh Thi Tam from the Vietnamese embassy, and the delegation devoted one minute of silence to commemorate the late President – the beloved leader of Lao people and a close friend of Vietnam’s Party, State and people.

She said that the embassy and diplomatic offices of Vietnam will continue coordinating with Lao offices in nurturing and developing the Vietnam-Laos, Laos-Vietnam special cooperation.

She wished the bilateral great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation will last forever, and affirmed that President Kaysone Phomvihane will live forever in Laos’ revolutionary cause as well as the Laos-Vietnam special relations.
