Hanoi to complete planning of inner city zoning and Red River

The Standing Committee of the Hanoi Municipal Party Committee agreed on the policy for all six subdivision planning projects on inner city zoning in the four districts of Hoan Kiem, Ba Dinh, Dong Da, and Hai Ba Trung at a working session held on February 25.

At the session, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee also listened to a report on the Red River subdivision planning and commented on major guidelines and orientations on the draft plan.

The Red River subdivision planning project is to be implemented on a 40km long section of Red River from Hong Ha Bridge to Me So Bridge, covering an area of ​​about 11,000 hectares that includes 55 wards and communes of 13 districts.

Speaking at the meeting, Politburo member and Secretary of the Hanoi Municipal Party Committee Vuong Dinh Hue spoke highly efforts made by the Party Committee of the City People’s Committee and related departments and branches in completing difficult projects.

He suggested the Party Committee of the City People’s Committee, departments and branches continue to complete the remaining work to soon complete planning projects, creating the basis for promoting the potentials and strengths for the city’s socio-economic development.
