Major General Hoang Quang Huong, Chief Representative of the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security in Laos, reviewed the operations of Vietnamese public security experts in Laos over the past 60 years.
He highlighted the role of Vietnamese public security experts in Laos who have faced difficulties and hardships to help Laos build its public security forces.
Vietnamese public security experts have provided consultancy and support to the Lao public security force in various areas including training, building organisational apparatus, and professional work, which has beenrecognised and appreciated by the Lao Party, State and Ministry of Public Security, the Major General said.
Major General Hoang Quang Huong also thanked the Vietnamese in Laos as well as the Lao people for their assistance, support and protection of Vietnamese police experts.
Ambassador Nguyen Ba Hung thanked Major General Hoang Quang Huong for delivering a meaningful speech, helping the people to gain a better understanding of the silent and significant contributions of the Vietnamese public security experts in Laos over the past 60 years, contributing to consolidating the relations between the two countries’ police forces.
He expressed his belief that the representative agency of the Vietnam Ministry of Public Security in Laos will continue to cooperate with the Lao public security force to strengthen the ties between the two forces and the two countries in general.
