NA deputies hailed for contribution to legislature’s operation

National Assembly (NA) Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan and NA vice chairpersons hosted a meeting with deputies of the 14th NA on March 30, during which the top legislator hailed the great contributions of NA deputies to the body’s operation in the current term.

Ngan said that the meeting took place on the occasion of the last sitting of the 14th NA, offering a chance for the delegates to take a look back at the results achieved over the nearly five years of the outgoing term, as well as the dedication from the NA deputies to the legislature in particular and the renovation and development of the country in general.

She hailed their innovation, creativity, enthusiasm, efforts and responsibility in improving operation modes to fulfil their set missions, thus creating a basis for a successful term of the NA that leaves imprints in the hearts of voters and people nationwide.

The NA chairwoman expressed her belief that, in any position and role, NA deputies would continue to maintain their good qualities and dedicate themselves to the cause of national construction and development.

On the occasion, Ngan also expressed her sincere thanks to the leadership of the Party; the effective coordination of the State President, the Government, the Vietnamese Fatherland Front and concerned agencies; and the trust, supervision and support of voters and people nationwide, as well as the solidarity and responsibility of agencies under the NA in serving the legislature’s activities.
