The statement was made by Politburo member and Head of the Party Central Committee (PCC)’s Economic Commission Tran Tuan Anh at a conference of the Steering Committee to review the ten-year-implementation of the Resolution of the sixth session of the 11th Party Central Committee on continuing to develop policies and laws on land in the period of renewal, creating a foundation for the country to become a modern-oriented industrial country by 2020.

Speaking at the conference, Politburo member Tran Tuan Anh, who is also Head of the Steering Committee, affirmed that land is a special natural resource and one of the greatest assets of the country.

Policies and laws relating to land directly impact on almost all economic, social, cultural and environmental activities of the country as well as the lives of communities, households and individuals, he added.

The Politburo member also noted that the PCC’s consideration and review of the implementation of Resolution No.19-NQ/TW, dated October 31, 2021, and its development and submission of a Resolution to replace this at the third meeting of the PCC on October 2021, show the necessity and important significance of renewal policies and laws on land.

He lauded the working spirit of the delegates and their profound opinions at the conference, while asking members of the Steering Committee and the relevant agencies, organisations and individuals to urgently fulfill all assigned tasks.
