Presenting his action programme, Politburo member Vo Van Thuong affirmed that if elected, he would join the city's National Assembly deputies in actively contributing ideas to concretize resolutions, propose practical solutions, and strive to build Da Nang into one of the major socio-economic centres of the country and Southeast Asia as a whole; focus on solving difficulties and obstacles which have existed for many years in the development of the city.
After being briefed on the five candidates’ biographies as well as their action programmes if elected to the legislature, local voters expect the candidates to follow through on what they have pledged and make important contributions to socio-economic development.
As a Permanent member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat, Vo Van Thuong pledged to work with the Politburo and the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat on directing, implementing and improving the effectiveness of Party building and rectification work.
On behalf of the NA candidates, Politburo member Vo Van Thuong welcomed the voters’ opinions and promised to reflect on the issues under his authority with the National Assembly and State agencies, expressing his belief that Hai Chau district’s voters and authorities will successfully organise their upcoming elections ensuring safety, communication and democracy in full accordance with the law.
