President of Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia visits Nhan Dan newspaper

Deputy Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic and President of the Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia (KSCM), Vojtech Filip, paid a working visit to Nhan Dan newspaper, the central organ of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV), in Hanoi on June 6, as part of his ongoing visit to Vietnam.

Addressing the reception, Thuan Huu, member of the CPV Central Committee (PCC), Editor-in-chief of Nhan Dan newspaper, deputy head of the PCC’s Commission for Communication and Education, and President of the Vietnam Journalists’ Association, voiced his honour at receiving the Czech guest at the Party newspaper.

Vojtech Filip expressed his delight at the regular contact and information exchanges between Nhan Dan newspaper and the Czech Embassy in Hanoi, while speaking highly of the news agency’s important role in the information and communication work.

The Czech Republic, as well as the Czech Embassy in Hanoi, will organise an array of activities to mark the 100th anniversary of the founding of Czechoslovakia in 2018, he revealed, expressing his wish to receive a delegation from Nhan Dan newspaper in Prague in the near future.

With regards to press cooperation, Vojtech Filip stressed the significance of maintaining the exchange of delegations between Nhan Dan newspaper and Halo Noviny newspaper, the central organ of the Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia.

Nhan Dan Editor-in-chief Thuan Huu voiced his hope that the working delegation of the Czech Republic, especially Halo Noviny newspaper, would have the opportunity to return to Vietnam in the future.
