Services on offer include house cleaning, air conditioner cleaning and laundry, with rates starting from VND43,000 an hour.

The app will help domestic workers have better incomes while making it easier for homeowners to find reliable and professional helpers.

Speaking at the awards ceremony on November 27, a representative of bTaskee stated that the team is aiming to provide jobs for 10,000 people throughout the country.

The second prize went to TopCV, a job recruitment platform with more than 3,000 opportunities each day, while the third prize was given to Cyhome, a smart apartment management system.

All three winning projects will receive a training trip to Israel where they can call for funding and learn from the experience of the country’s start-up businesses.

The Startup Funding Camp 2018, organised by the Vietnam Youth Federation, attracted roughly 100 start-ups, from which ten were selected for the final round where they had to present their products and business plans as well as convince investment funds to provide capital.
