Themed “Vietnam – The Emerged Destination for Innovation,” the conference aims to promote the potential of the country’s IT industry as an emerging destination for innovation and offer a business matching platform for local and international buyers as well as Vietnamese vendors.

The biennial conference was co-organised by the Investment and Trade Promotion Centre of Ho Chi Minh City; the Vietnam Information Technology Outsourcing Alliance (VNITO Alliance), and Quang Trung Software City (QTSC).

It also features an international conference with more than 500 participants, business-matching sessions to connect Vietnamese software companies and local and foreign buyers, a technology exhibition, and visits to top IT companies and software parks among others.

Artificial intelligence, blockchain, big data, the internet of things, digital transformation, and tech talent will also be discussed.

At the opening ceremony, the organisers also announced cooperation agreements between VNITO Alliance and 6 international organisations from Japan and the Republic of Korea.

These agreements marked the cooperation and promotion of trade and business activities of Vietnam's IT to two key markets in the region.
