Science and technology supply-demand connection

A chain of connection activities and a Science and technology supply-demand week were launched at a ceremony in Hanoi, on December 24.

The Centre for Knowledge Transfer and Start-up Assistance(under the Hanoi National University) in collaboration with the Technology Application and Development Department (under the Ministry of Science and Technology) organised the event, in order to promote scientific research activities and enhance the application and transfer of research results into real life and society, contributing to socio-economic development.

The event features the participation of 300 delegates featuring scientists, experts, and enterprises wishing to connect and invest in scientific research activities as well as promote domestic and international science and technology transfer.

The programme is taking place from December 24 to 26, 2020 at building G6, 144 Xuan Thuy, Cau Giay, Hanoi and includes three activities: opening a chain of connection activities and a science and technology supply-demand connection week; pitching to connect investment, promote science and technology transfer; showcasing the connection between science-technology supply and demand.

Dr. Vuong Quoc Thang, Director of the Centre for Knowledge Transfer and Start-up Assistance, affirmed: “Through the chain of science and technology supply-demand connection activities, higher education institutions, research institutes, scientists, entrepreneurs, state management agencies meet, connect, form and develop the science and technology market, expandingcooperation between research institutes , universities and businesses, putting science and technology into practice to serve life, production and business and most importantly overall socio-economic development ”.
