Contest encourages young people to promote digital transformation

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Hanoi Youth Union and Palace of Culture and Sports for Hanoi Youth officially launched the contest “Youth Digital Citizen Challenge 2021” at a ceremony held in Hanoi on July 15.

The contest aims to attract young people to create digital transformation solutions and services towards improving the quality and accessibility of online public services.

From now until August 10, the youths, programmers, designers and start-ups in Hanoi and from across the country, who aged between 18 and 30, can submit their ideas to the organising board of the contest.

The submissions must focus on five fields including public administrative services, education, health, business support, natural resources and environment.

Ten most outstanding teams will be trained by experts to complete the solutions. Accordingly, three best ones will join technology incubation programme with the support from domestic and international venture capital funds.

Also today, the contest “Code War Programming Challenge 2021 – The First Battle” was officially launched, aiming to form community of qualified programmers who can create their own high-quality projects with high competitiveness in the market economy and deep international economic integration.
