Over 100 investors support students and young people to start business

The Student and Youth Startup Village was officially launched on October 3 within the framework of the national festival for innovative start-ups, TECHFEST Vietnam 2021.

This is one of the new technology villages of TECHFEST this year.

The village aims to create an ecosystem that works in synergy with universities, colleges, vocational education and the business community to contribute to helping the country move to a knowledge economy.

According to the organising board, more than 100 investors are willing to invest in projects while about 50 start-up projects of students and young people have been sent to the village.

The deadline for receiving projects is October 12. The Student and Youth Startup Village will accompany start-up projects from helping to complete documents, evaluate ideas, evaluate products from a market perspective, operate projects and businesses, connect investors, etc. Top 10 projects will be eligible to participate in TECHFEST's contest in 2021.

TECHFEST Vietnam 2021 themed “Embracing Innovation - Reshaping the Future” is an annual festival, the biggest of its kind, and has been jointly organised by the Ministry of Science and Technology along with other ministries, sectors, localities and socio-political organisations.

The event aims promote innovative solutions from innovative start-ups in response to the pandemic and contribute to economic recovery as well as to promote the formation of open innovative thinking in solving problems and challenges posed in society, especially in the context of the epidemic and the needs of large enterprises and corporations.
