Winners of National Technical Innovation Contest announced

A ceremony was held in Hanoi on May 11 to honour the winners of the 16th National Technical Innovation Contest (2020-2021).

The contest received a total of 550 solutions from 54 provinces, cities, ministries and agencies around the country.

The organising board presented five first place, 11 second place, 23 third place and 45 consolation prizes to the 84 most outstanding solutions.

In addition, the five individuals who are the managers of the first-prize solutions were honoured with certificates of merit from the Prime Minister.

The Vietnam General Confederation of Labour also awarded the certificate of creative labour to the managers and co-managers of outstanding solutions.

The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee presented two certificates of merit and 15 creative youth badges.

On the occasion, the group from the Military Technical Academy received the award from the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) for the best solution.

The 16th National Technical Innovation Contest was held by the Vietnam Fund for Supporting Technological Creations (VIFOTEC), along with the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour.
