The event saw the presence of General Luong Cuong, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People’s Army, and Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam.
At the ceremony, the Organisation Board presented 16 first, 42 second, 77 third and 112 consolation prizes to individuals and collectives. In addition, 15 outstanding collectives also received certificates of merit from the Minister of Defence.
The award, the 19th of its kind, attracted the participation of 978 young military officers with 501 works in various fields, including military social sciences and humanities, weapons, mechanics, electronics and telecommunication, information technology, chemistry – materials, education and training - military training, military logistics and military medicine.
The event aims to encourage the movement of scientific research, technical innovation and application of new technologies among the military youth, as well as discover young talents, contributing to the successful implementation of the political tasks of agencies, units and the entire army.
