The event is jointly held by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial People's Committee.
After the opening ceremony, the final round of the competition to find start-up talents in the Southeast region took place with the participation of 14 start-up projects from localities in the region.
Numerous programmes are scheduled at the event, including exhibitions and workshops on international experience with start-ups, innovations and technology market potentials.
The event is expected to help science-technology start-up enterprises to showcase their products and link investments.
The event will run until September 24.
