In this category, the prize-winning products should meet all the criteria concerning innovation, problem-solving ability, marketing strategy, ability to meet users’ requirements, efficiency, feasibility, quality and reliability.

Hocmai.vn was established with personalised and differentiated e-learning programmes which offer many learning-supporting utilities and a digitalised system of lessons, thereby improving and developing the capabilities of learners.

When students use the Hocmai.vn platform, the system will suggest suitable learning roadmaps based on the ability of students. Throughout the learning process, the system will save learning data and periodically notify students about the progress and results of students. Through students’ learning behaviours and the periodical assessment results of their abilities, the system can recognise students who are facing problems and thence offer appropriate suggestions, helping them to make timely adjustments. During the learning process, parents can accompany their children through a system of reports on students’ learning results and ability assessment results.

According to the representative of the HOCMAI system, more than 3.8 million learners have registered to use Hocmai.vn in the past decade. Statistics of SimilarWeb & Alexa 2018 shows that the Hocmai.vn online learning platform ranked 176th in the field of global education.

Another Vietnamese representative, ViettelStudy, an online learning social network run by telecom giants Viettel, is also eligible for the final round of the ASEAN ICT Awards 2019 in the “Corporate Social Responsibility” category.

The final round of the Awards is scheduled to take place in Vientiane, Laos on October 23-24.

The ASEAN ICT Awards, an initiative approved at the ASEAN Telecommunications and IT Ministers’ Meeting in 2012, aims to seek and honour creative ICT products and solutions that can be applied in reality, helping promote technological application and enhance trade relations among the ASEAN countries.
