Under the theme “Cybersecurity in the AI and Big Data Era”, the event provides a forum for experts and solution providers to share their experiences in enhancing the capacity to respond to security risks and protect important information systems.

It is also an opportunity for government agencies, organisations and cybersecurity firms to expand mutual cooperation and promote unity in terms of ensuring security in cyberspace.

The summit is featuring a main session and two seminars on security related to critical national IT infrastructure and protecting the new-generation corporate information system.

According to Deputy Head of the Central Economic Commission Nguyen Duc Hien, Vietnam is pushing for digital transformation across a broad range of sectors.

As a result, cybersecurity is considered a key task that needs to be made a top priority, especially at a time when enterprises are shifting their business models and increasing the use of technology in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic.

As part of the summit, an exhibition on cybersecurity was held with the participation of more than 30 leading solution providers in the region and from across the world such as RSA, TrendMicro, Cloudflare, Hikvision and Palo Alto Networks.

Solutions on display at the exhibition include cloud security, terminal security, mobile security, identity and access management, multifactor authentication, biometric security and the Internet of Things, among others.
