NDO – Organising opening ceremonies for the new academic year in face-to-face or online form; having policies in place to support students with difficult circumstances; and absolutely avoiding overcharging at the beginning of the academic year are some of the notable contents in the Directive on the Implementation of Tasks for the 2021-2022 Academic Year.

The Directive on the Implementation of Tasks for the 2021-2022 Academic Year, which aims to respond to the Covid-19 epidemic and continue to innovate and stay persistent towards the goals of education and training quality, was signed and promulgated by Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son on August 24.

According to the directive, the 2021-2022 academic year is the first year in which the whole educational sector is implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress. The 2021-2022 academic year will continue to perform the dual tasks of implementing solutions to prevent and control the ongoing complicated Covid-19 epidemic while trying to overcome difficulties to complete the school year's tasks, meet the requirements of innovation and ensure the quality of education and training.

The Minister of Education and Training requested that the education sector perform key tasks, including proactively developing and implementing a flexible 2021-2022 school year plan in accordance with the Covid-19 epidemic situation of each locality.

It is necessary to synchronously implement solutions to improve the quality of training, thus contributing to improving the quality of human resources, especially high-quality human resources. It is necessary to effectively implement the educational work of revolutionary ideals, political ideology, morality, lifestyle, life skills, vocational skills and employment for pupils and students. It is necessary to implement a plan to implement the roadmap to raise the standard qualifications of preschool, primary and secondary school teachers according to regulations.

The Directive on the Implementation of Tasks for the 2021-2022 Academic Year also requires the organisation of the practical and effective emulation movement "Innovation in education and training management".
