At the event, the organising board presented one first, two second, three third and 10 consolation prizes to the best entries, which stood out from the more than 50,000 submissions sent to the contest.

Le Hai Van, a teacher from Den Lu Secondary School in Hoang Mai District, Hanoi, won the first prize for her touching piece of writing about her excellent student who died after an accident at the age of 18.

The contest was first launched in 2018 to honour teachers who have made significant contributions to the country’s educational reform. It also praises educational facilities which have worked out initiatives and incentives towards reforming learning and teaching methods.

This year’s event received enthusiastic participation from teachers, students and parents from across the country. Each entry told a beautiful story about the author’s unforgettable memories about his teachers and studenthood.
