PM okays investment for three sports education facilities

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has approved investment for construction of three facilities serving physical training and sports education at three institutions.

PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc has approved investment for construction of three facilities serving physical training for students at three academies.

The first is investment for a number of infrastructure projects and physical training components at the Vietnam Youth Academy - the southern branch managed by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee.

The project aims to upgrade facilities to meet standards of higher education in the academy and improve training quality for the Youth Union’s officials in the southern region.

The project is being implemented during the 2017-2018 period at a total investment of VND20 billion in the institute, located at  No. 261 Hoang Huu Nam street, Tan Phu ward, District 9, Ho Chi Minh City.

The second is the construction for a physical education complex at the Institute of Officials for the Vietnam Farmers' Union managed by the Vietnam Farmer's Union.

Investment worth VND10.3 billion will be spent on construction of a two-storey building and ancillary works, as well as installation of necessary equipment. The project will be kick started next year at the institute in Hanoi’s Cau Giay district.

The third is construction for a physical training complex in Vietnam Women's Academy under the management of the Vietnam Women's Union.

A three-storey building equipped with integrated infrastructure systems and equipment will be built to serve physical training for students at the academy.

The project is set for 2017-2019 with a total investment of VND25 billion at the institute, No. 68 Nguyen Chi Thanh street, Lang Ha ward, Hanoi’s Dong Da district.
