Speaking at the launching, Deputy Head of the Party Commission for Communication and Education Nguyen Thanh Long, stressed the urgent need to raise revolutionary awareness among people from all walks of life, particularly with the younger generation.

Therefore, the contest was launched to popularise trust-worthy inormation on the Party’s guidelines, thus contributing to fighting against wrongful allegations about the Party, he said.

He called on political and social organisations and the Party Committee’s Commission for Information and Education of cities and provinces to take actions to encourage the participation of cadres, Party members, youth union members and locals in the contest.

The contest, which will run until December 30, 2019, is available on the electronic information and education system at http://vcnet.vn with multiple-choice questions focusing on the glorious 90-year history of the Party, President Ho Chi Minh, and the country’s achievements during the Doi Moi (Renewal) process under the clear-sighted leadership of the Party.

One first, two second, three third and five consolation prizes, worth VND22 million in total, will be presented every week to honour outstanding entrants.
