Programming contest launched for students nationwide

The contest is co-organised by the VSA Central Committee and FPT Software, aiming to create a playground for students to show their programming skills and train to become qualified technology experts and programmers.

The competition takes place from September 1 to October 18, 2019 on a national scale. Teams perform their exams online on the website of the contest. Each participating team need to write a piece of programme in a self-selected programming language, such as C ++, C #, JAVA, JavaScript, Python 2 and Python 3 to solve problems raised by the organising committee. The teams then put their programme codes directly onto the system which will run through testcases. If passing the testcases, they will be accepted as the correct answers and score points. The number of points earned depends on the number of testcases passed.

The teams, consisting of a maximum of three members each, can register to participate in the contest through the website https://codelearn.io/ from September 1 to 24.

The ten best teams from each of the three regions - North, Central and South – will be eligible for the national finals, scheduled to take place on October 18.

In addition to receiving the certificate of merit from the VSA Central Committee and the trophy, the national champions will be awarded a VND120 million tour to the FPT Japan Office. The three region champions will get a cash prize of VND20 million each and a US$1,000 course at FPT's Fresher Academy.
