The university’s lecturers have gained high achievements in teaching and scientific research and have been honoured with prestigious awards in the country and the world.

Deputy PM Hue affirmed that the Government supports the VNU-HCM to develop and implement an autonomy pilot project for its member universities. However, the implementation should follow the guidance of the Ministry of Education and Training, the current regulations of the State and the autonomy requirements of its member facilities.

In the coming times, the university should be more active in participating in the process of developing documents and guiding the implementation of the Law Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Higher Education Law, as well as legal documents on re-arrangement of the public unit system.
