Based on the Ministry of Education and Training’s adjustment of the school year duration and the online and television teaching by schools, the municipal People’s Committee has decided that the deadline for the second semester will be on July 15.
Meanwhile, the deadline to recognise the completion of the primary school programme and junior secondary school graduation is July 31.
In addition, the enrolment for the 10th grade must be completed before August 15.
The entrance exam for the 10th grade in Hanoi was previously set for early June 2020 but the exam date was postponed due to the pandemic.
To support 9th graders in continuing the second semester and preparing for the 10th grade entrance exam, the municipal Department of Education and Training has developed an online learning programme from February 2020.
