The campaign’s agenda was announced by the organisers on July 9, with the Vietnam Students’ Association launching the annual campaign in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Training, Thanh Nien (Young People) Newspaper and Thien Long Group.

Accordingly, the programme will cover all 63 provinces and cities across the country, taking place from July to August, with its peak from August 8 to 10 – the time set for the 2020 National High School Graduation Exams.

This year’s program is integrated with many new and modern activities with various support forms suitable to the ‘new normal’ state.

Bui Quang Huy, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, President of the Vietnam Students’ Association Central Committee, and Head of the Organising Committee, said that along with its traditional activities, the programme will introduce students to prestigious online knowledge channels, as well as offer online counselling on psychology, nutrition, study methods and multiple-choice test guides for candidates.

The organisers will coordinate with related units to implement COVID-19 prevention and control measures, such as placing hand sanitisers at exam venues and giving free face masks to candidates and their family members.

In particular, there will be a "one volunteer assisting one candidate” model that will be offered through an online registration portal to connect volunteers and candidates who need support for exam review, test-taking experience and other issues related to the exams.
