The health minister made the remarks at the virtual meeting on October 16 on COVID-19 vaccination and solutions to authenticate and connect vaccination data with the national data on population.

According to Minister Long, Vietnam has been organising the largest ever vaccination campaign in history, which requires management methods so that everyone can be vaccinated and the vaccination situation can be easily seen nationwide.

He also pointed out some problems arising in the vaccination process, such as incomplete updates on the vaccination information of people, people being vaccinated but with no information updated on the electronic Health Book app, the entry of vaccination data, and the use of paper vaccination certificates, among others.

At the meeting, the Ministry of Public Security and Ministry of Information and Communications agreed to coordinate with the Ministry of Health to ensure the progress of data entry and vaccination authentication.

About 61 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered, requiring the quick authentication to make uniform management at all levels.
