Additional 500,000 doses of Japanese funded COVID-19 vaccines arrive in Vietnam

Another 500,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccines funded by the Japanese Government, arrived at the Tan Son Nhat Airport in Ho Chi Minh City on the morning of October 23.

This raised the total number of vaccines funded by the Japanese Government to 4.08 million doses between June and October 2021, which are mainly the AstraZeneca vaccine.

The Consulate General of Japan in Ho Chi Minh City emphasised: “Let us unite to overcome the difficulties of the pandemic to bring life back to normal soon.”
