President Nguyen Xuan Phuc visits healthcare workers in Da Nang

President Nguyen Xuan Phuc visited healthcare workers, at the Da Nang General Hospital and the Da Nang C Hospital on January 12, as part of his working trip to the central city.

These are two of the major hospitals in Da Nang and the central region, both with highly qualified staff and advanced equipment.

Over the past two years, both hospitals have played an active contribution to the testing and treatment of COVID-19 patients, as well as vaccinations for Da Nang residents.

Speaking with the two hospitals’ staff, the State leader praised their tireless efforts in the fight against coronavirus and in providing healthcare for people throughout Da Nang and the central region.

He asked the two hospitals to strive in reducing the number of severe COVID-19 cases and deaths.

The President also requested the Da Nang authorities to continue upgrading the infrastructure of these two hospitals and other local healthcare facilities, to make the city a leading medical centre of Vietnam.
