Fourth Vinmec International Hospital opens in Nha Trang

The leading Vietnamese property developer Vingroup on April 28 opened the Vinmec Nha Trang International Hospital at 42A Tran Phu, Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa province.

Vinmec Nha Trang is the fourth hospital in the Vinmec Health Care System put into operation in Vietnam after the launch of Vinmec International Hospitals in Hanoi, Phu Quoc and Ho Chi Minh City.

The hospital covers over 5,200m2 with a total usable area of 19,000m2 including eight storeys and a basement with a total investment of VND630 billion (US$28.35 million).

The hospital has a capacity of 150 beds with basic departments including an ER, surgery, maternity, paediatrics and others, meeting WHO international medical standards.

With world leading medical equipment and well qualified medical staff, Vinmec Nha Trang will provide international standard health services for locals and tourists in the south central region.

The Vinmec Health Care System by Vingroup officially went into operation in 2012 and achieved the JCI accreditation in 2015 - the world's leading accreditation on hospital management and patient safety.

The Vinmec Health Care System has set a target of establishing a chain of ten Vinmec international hospitals across the country by 2020.
