The signing ceremony was held in Hanoi on July 17, in which both sides agreed to cooperate, support and share roles and tasks to promote the implementation of the project. Seongnam city provides financial and administrative support for the project to train health professionals, while also supporting technical and information exchange to build an international medical cooperation system.

Bundang Jesaeng Hospital offers medical training programmes that are suitable with the conditions in Vietnam and promotes their advanced medical techniques and services.

Meanwhile, the Hanoi-based hospital recruits and appoints qualified staff to participate in the health professional training programme, as well as disseminating medical techniques from Seongnam city to Vietnamese medical workers.

After the signing ceremony, the Seongnam delegation visited the Hanoi Oncology Hospital and discussed the next steps for cooperation.

The Hanoi hospital expects that cooperation with the Seongnam city government and Bundang Jesaeng Hospital will contribute to promoting the prevention and treatment of cancer and assist the hospital in obtaining qualified human resources to provide high quality medical services, thereby improving the health and quality of life of Vietnamese people.
