Health declaration required for passengers from Iran and Italy

Passengers entering Vietnam from or through Iran or Italy are required to fill out medical declaration forms as of February 29 amid the spread of the Covid-19 epidemic in the two countries, according to a document recently issued by the Health Ministry.

If passengers show any signs of cough, fever, shortness of breath, or respiratory disease, medical quarantine measures must be applied.

*A Vietnamese citizen has been confirmed to be infected with Covid-19virus in Daegu City in the Republic of Korea (RoK), according to the Korea Centre for Disease Control and Prevent (KCDC).

The Vietnamese Embassy has sent dispatches to the RoK Foreign Ministry and related agencies and localities in the RoK asking them to ensure effective treatment for the Vietnamese patient.
