Over the past year, the Hanoi City authorities and people have made joint efforts and raised a high sense of responsibility in preventing and controlling COVID-19 while effectively implementing its socio-economic development, contributing to the successful organisation of the 13th National Party Congress and the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly (NA) and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 tenure.

Speaking at the event, Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Chu Ngoc Anh highly applauded the efforts of those working on the frontline in the battle against the pandemic.

He called for organisations, businesses, and people to share the responsibility with the city by contributing money and resources to the city’s COVID-19 vaccination programme so that the city can soon achieve herd immunity against the virus and bring life back to normal.

He pledged that the donations will be made public while ensuring transparency and efficiency in the use of the money.
