However, under the latest announcement by the chairperson of Hai Phong People's Committee dated June 21 on continuing to loosen some strict measures against COVID-19 in the city, discos, karaoke parlours, spas, bars and pubs will remain closed.
Currently, Hai Phong has gone 21 days without any new infections in the community. This new move is also a solution to ensure the realisation of the dual goals in the new normal state.
Hai Phong authorities also assigned the Department of Health to assume the prime responsibility for coordinating with the Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board and the Department of Industry and Trade to continue conducting large-scale COVID-19 testing and developing a plan to deploy COVID-19 vaccination for workers in industrial zones and production facilities.
In Hanoi, the Tan Trieu facility of the National Cancer Hospital (known as K Hospital), officially opened to patients from this morning, June 21, after more than a month under a medical blockade.

In the past week (from June 14 to 20), the hospital carried out thoroughly disinfection before welcoming patients back.
From June 21, all people entering/exiting K Hospital are required to take or have a negative test result for SARS-CoV-2.
In order to pass through the hospital gates, the medical staff asks those who come for examination and treatment to provide photos and text messages confirming an appointment through the K hospital's consultation and support switchboard 1900886684 or from their doctors.
The hospital has also deployed 14 checkpoints, working from 5 am.
This morning, a team of six doctors from the Ho Chi Minh City-based Cho Ray Hospital set out to Cu Chi district to support the care and treatment of severely ill COVID-19 patients at the Cu Chi COVID-19 Treatment Hospital. The team will continue working there from June 21 to 27.
