Xuan asked provincial authorities to come up with specific anti-pandemic plans for each area, unit and locality while mitigating the emergence of hotspots in the community, ensuring social welfare for residents, especially the poor in border areas, towards gradually recovering the economy.

Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Vo Duc Trong said Tay Ninh has so far recorded 8,275 infection cases, 6,489 of them had recovered and 119 died from the disease.

The province is now home to 185 enterprises with 56,000 workers who are working under “three-on-site” model, or 40 percent of the total.
