Earlier on October 5, the delegation also visited the Most Venerable Dao Nhu and the Khmer Theravada Buddhist Institute at the Pothisomron Temple.

At these places, President of the Can Tho Fatherland Front Nguyen Trung Nhan extended his best wishes to the Buddhist dignitaries and the local Khmer community on the Sen Dolta Festival.

He thanked the religious leaders and the Khmer people for joining hands with the city in its socio-economic development, and especially in the fight against COVID-19.

Nhan expected that the Khmer people will continue to move forward hand in hand with the city in realising the Party and State’s policies and take an active part in socio-economic development in the new normal state.

He affirmed that the fatherland front is willing to take on board their constructive opinions in order to make Can Tho even more beautiful.
