Speaking at the meeting, member of the Party Central Committee and First Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee Nguyen Anh Tuan reviewed the success of activities to improve the effectiveness of solidarity in gathering and promoting Vietnamese youth abroad, as recently organised by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and Vietnamese youth organisations.

He affirmed that these remarkable results were attributable to the attention, direction and coordination of the work of the PCC's Commission for External Relations, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ambassadors and Chief Representative of Vietnamese diplomatic missions abroad.

The delegates at the programme also discussed and exchanged many ideas and proposed measures to contribute to improving solidarity while gathering and promoting the resources of the overseas Vietnamese community in general and Vietnamese youth and students abroad in particular.

They also suggested the promotion of summer camps for overseas youths; exchange and investment cooperation between overseas and domestic young entrepreneurs; connecting young start-up networks at home and abroad; and Party development work among overseas Vietnamese youths.
