Association lauded for promoting education

Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan has praised the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education (VAPE)’s chapters and members for their efforts and contributions to promoting study, talents and education reform to build a learning society.

The VP made the statement while hosting a reception in Hanoi on November 30 for delegates attending the VAPE’s 6th Congress, which is to be held in Hanoi from November 30 to December 1.

VP Xuan also highlighted the role and responsibility of the national education and training sector as well as the agency in developing human resources, which are vital to realise rapid and sustainable development goals for the nation.

Study and talent encouraging movements have spread through localities nationwide and the association has also upheld its core role in promoting studies in the community, she noted.

The VP expressed her hope that the VAPE will further develop and continue to be worthy of the responsibility entrusted by the Party, State and society.
