Deputy PM Le Van Thanh presents gifts to workers in Ha Nam

Deputy Prime Minister Le Van Thanh attended the ‘Tet sum vay – Xuan binh an’ (Tet reunion – Peaceful spring) programme and presented gifts to workers in Ha Nam Province on January 15.

Addressing the event, the government official conveyed his best Tet wishes to all people and workers in Ha Nam Province. He noted that, despite the difficulties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021, the province achieved high economic targets while ensuring social security.

Within the programme, the Deputy PM presented 200 gifts to needy workers and households.

On the same day, he visited wounded and sick soldiers who are receiving treatment at Duy Tien War Invalids Nursing Centre. The centre is now caring for 59 seriously sick soldiers from across the country who have had their working capacity reduced by 81% or more.

On the occasion of Tet 2022, the Ha Nam Provincial Labour Federation and trade unions at all levels have prepared more than 10,000 gifts worth 300,000 – 500,000 VND each along with more than 1,200 bus tickets to present to needy workers to help them enjoy a warm Tet.
